Strassenfest Water Giveaway

We had a wonderful time serving our community this past Saturday. Approximately 900 waters were given away by 30 volunteers from Fellowship. It was a great way for our church to tell our community we love them through a simple act of kindness. We are praying that our community will see that there are Christ-centered churches in their community that love them and want to serve them. Our prayer is that God will use this water distribution to open the doors for opportunities to share with our community the “living water” that only Jesus can give, salvation from sins!
Thanks everyone for your help distributing waters, donating waters, filling ice, providing coolers and all the other little details that have to take place! A special thanks to our good friends Terry and Teresa Fogle for donating hundreds of waters, all of the ice and feeding all the volunteers at Shoneys.

Today’s truth is that Jesus alone Saves! Indeed the greatest truth for mankind is that Jesus Christ alone brings salvation to mankind. Through his death and resurrection, Jesus stands alone as the only hope for salvation. As Romans 10:13 says, “That whosoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” We are praying that children and parents will come to know Jesus Christ in a saving way this week.
