Sometimes I feel as if my life is stuck on cruise control. I have a 6 year old in palliative care – for the past 12 months she has been deteriorating, and there is nothing I can do, apart from keeping her painfree and endeavouring to keep her happy. I cannot make plans for the future as I have to just take things day at a time. But I am resting in Christ, knowing His hand is on the wheel. It is the only way that I am able to get through each day, knowing that I am doing His Will, however hard it is. I know that you will relate to this; your positive inspirational writings give me a lift.

Thank you again, for your insightful message. I saw a church the other day; it had the following message on a board out the front – “Come just as you are”. I’m so glad that God accepts me, just as I am, and then promises to change me into His image.

This is a very interesting article. I’ve read all those passages before, but for some reason I just never realized that we are going to make sacrifices in the millenium. The author makes a pretty good speculation as to why there will be sacrifices. I’m hesitant to say he is correct though. I guess it’s just too new to me to have an opinion.
